Parting ways.

Sunday, October 9th, 2011

Breaking up is never easy to do kids, but sometimes when all else fails – it’s the only option. I resuscitated Phamous back in 2007 with Steve Potter, when we decided to take the taboo name of Phamous and our love for photography and try to make something of ourselves. What came of it was nothing short of life lessons and an amazing adventure. I’ve traveled up and down the east coast, photographing paintball players in the NPPL (RIP), PSP, NEPL, NEXL, AXBL (RIP), CXBL, and NCPA. I’ve met hundreds of great people along the 4 year journey that took a small, two man photography operation and turning it into a national name at one point. I’ll always have crazy stories to tell of those adventures and the photos to back them up, never was there a dull moment at any event.

Unfortunately I can no longer make the commit to Phamous Media that I have in years past. Our goal was always to provide high quality, large quantity free work for everyone- I never believed in charging for my work no matter how much time went into it. As Phamous Media takes a turn in another direction, and I begin to start my career as a private investigator I feel now is the best time for me to part ways.

Like I said, I have met hundreds of people throughout the years but there a few I wanna thank here because without them- none of you would even know who Phamous Media was. Without Lenny Emery, Joseph Devaney, Cole Hubacz, Patrick Clark, Steve Potter, Tom Brierton & Brooke Hattan (Matts Outback) Lori & Anthony Miller (BP/NEPL) and Jeff Stien (NE Hurricanes) there would be no Phamous Media.

Thank you to everyone who supported Phamous Media and myself through kind words, putting out stickers on your gear, and rocking our shirts. It’s been a great experience and if anyone would like to contact me please feel free to email me.

PSP New Jersey Open 2011

Tuesday, August 16th, 2011

What an event, 85+ degrees Friday and Saturday.. then BAM monsoon Sunday. I wanna first off say congratulations to Team No Name on their Division 3 win and also to 187 Crew on their Division 1 win. Way to bring the hardware back to New England boys. As for me, this was my first national event since NPPL Boston 2007. That said, a lot has changed since 7 man days of NPPL, but none the less it was a great event for me. Thanks to everyone that shared some water on those hot days, and let me find shelter under their tent during the monsoon.

NCPA NEIC, Class A & AA.

Sunday, November 1st, 2009

What better way to spend a Halloween afternoon than with some college paintball.  The NEIC’s AA Fall Northeast Conference was held at Camelot Paintball in Chicopee, MA.  The conference had a solid turn out even with the raining weather.  You can checkout all the college AA paintball action in the gallery below.  Enjoy.

NEIC; Camelot Paintball (Cole)

Unknowingly Me and Cole covered all of the NEIC action this past weekend and I happen to be at Matt’s Outback Paintball in Coventry, CT covering the class A side of things, while he was up in Mass covering class AA. All the teams played some great paintball despite the wet and muddy conditions, and I hope you all were able to salvage some Halloween madness when you arrived back home.

AXBL Event TRES!

Friday, July 31st, 2009

Two weeks ago to this day, I was passed out after a long first day of shooting the MXL teams for Event 3 in Sodus Point, NY. But alas, come Sunday at 6:30am I was up and ready to go at it to get the AXBL action. The event was great, no rain, lots of shenanigans, and some antics that are better left unspoken of. Without further comprehension of words here are all my photos from Event 3.

NCPA Nationals 2009.

Tuesday, April 21st, 2009

I woke up Thursday morning and found myself going, “Florida, already?” It was that time again for the best college and high school teams from around the nation to meet up and decide upon who was the best of the best. There was a lot of great action going on from Friday to Sunday and I was fortunate enough to be there to capture most of it. Congratulations to the winners and the losers, because no matter what the outcome was, photos always tell a different story.

A college national event is like no other event I’ve ever been to, everyone is friends come Sunday sitting in the bleachers…

So here I have photos from Fridays play which saw: UConn, Penn State, Army, Rutgers, Northeastern, West Virginia, and Clemson. Also a few miscellaneous photos such as a kid in a banana suite, and some goofy looking photographer.

Making the cut.

Sunday, March 15th, 2009

Another great turnout for the AXBL Newark Team No Name and MAXL Sodus Point No Name Kids tryouts. Today was the final judgment day for everyone and the pressure was on to get the job done. Which made for some interesting photos,

What did I learn today? It’s not a good idea to have more than two people dive into a bunker at the same time, gets sloppy.

I notice a lot of people saving and re-uploading photos, since we do not watermark our photos where ever you re-post please show the love and at least drop our website in the caption. For those on PBN, feel free to add us to your signature it means a lot.

NEPL 2008 Event 3

Monday, August 4th, 2008

It was great to be back for NEPL Event 3, the rain held off for the most part and with the sun shinning in threw the clouds at times it made for some great photos. Me and Cole shot around 350 photos each and sorted out the best for everyone to see. Can’t wait for Event 4!

NCPA National Championship

Saturday, April 19th, 2008

Phamous Media is down in Lakeland, Fl covering UConn and other teams for the 2008 NCPA National Championship. The weather is nice, the shenanigans are cheeky and fun and the paintball, is… well paintball to say the least.

NCPA Nationals-UConn

Besides UConn, Phamous Media also covered- Rutgers, WVU, and Drexel on Friday;

NCPA Friday

Saturday; Class AA Preliminaries, Class A Semi-Finals

NCPA Saturday

Unfortunately today was the end of the road for UConn, They played UCI again in the second round after a first round bye. UCI took an early 3-0 lead, but UConn came back with 6 unanswered points but fell short in the end.

Sunday: Final Four and Finals Action. The Final Four saw Ohio vs. Illinois State Redbirds and UCI vs. Illinis Illini.
